We start by co-creating your custom weight loss goals, food and exercise guidelines, and hypnotic coaching plan in a way that makes sense, both scientifically and for your lifestyle and health needs. We'll schedule and plan out the focus of your sessions and you'll get powerful audio recordings to use as needed.
Over the course of 12 weeks, we will have five private 1-hour hypnotic coaching sessions and six shorter accountability and unforeseen challenge meetings. You'll stay on track and motivated as we work together to guide the most powerful parts of your mind to get on board with the changes you desire.
By the end of your customized program, your relationship with food and your thoughts about eating and movement will likely be very different. In just 12 weeks, you can lose at least 10 pounds, and you'll have the confidence to keep it off and keep going with your new, healthier lifestyle to reach your goal weight.
The best part about it: Your program is designed for YOU around your habits, lifestyle, and goals.
We will work together to co-create some simple guidelines that will be the backbone of your program. These are likely things you've been wanting to do anyway. Things such as cutting out added sugar and refined carbohydrates. Or eating more foods that actually look like real foods. Or moving your body more.
We'll first identify your weight-loss saboteurs, the habits and tendencies that are currently harming your health:
- Do you eat a "second dinner" late at night?
- Or absentmindedly snack when you feel bored, lonely, or sad?
- Do you give in to intense carb cravings between meals?
- Have you realized you're having dessert after every lunch and dinner?
- Do you reach for seconds when you are already full?
- Or perhaps you start with too big of a portion and feel bad if you don't clean your plate?
Once we know your saboteurs, we'll design your guidelines and hypnotic coaching plan to eliminate them. We will combine what you need personally with what science and research support.
Then we'll dive into your 1:1 hypnotic coaching sessions. At each session, we will work together to co-create the healthy lifestyle you want and stay focused and purposeful in achieving it by coaching the subconscious mind. Making changes at this deep level allows them to stick and is proven in many studies to be highly effective.

What is hypnotic coaching and how does it differ from coaching or hypnosis?
Hypnotic coaching has been called "hypnosis for the 21st century" for good reasons. It combines the best of both worlds, coaching and hypnosis, into one very effective modality.
Coaching is a partnership of equals in which your coach acts as your sounding board and guides you through thought-provoking inquiry and discovery. You work together to establish and meet your most important and self-selected goals while gaining new insights as you work through any challenges or obstacles in your way.
Hypnosis provides a way to get your conscious and subconscious minds to believe the same message. While hypnotized, the body and mind deeply relax into a state of focused awareness, and the logical, critical, and judgmental nature of the conscious mind can be bypassed. The subconscious mind is more open and amenable to positive suggestions, leading to desired change and growth.
Hypnosis has been found to be effective in many research studies for numerous behavioral changes, including stopping overeating and smoking cessation. This is because it works at the level of the subconscious mind, where unconscious habits and beliefs are governed. While hypnotized, people can work on issues and goals at a deep level through imagination, imagery, metaphor/story, and positive suggestion.
Hypnotic coaching is the cutting-edge combination of the two. You get the purposeful and goal-oriented co-creation process of coaching plus the advantages of the tool of hypnosis, while maintaining a relationship of equals.
How do I know that I can be hypnotized?
Here are the two most important questions:
1. Can you focus and concentrate?
2. Do you want to be hypnotized?
If you answered yes to those questions then yes, you can be hypnotized.
Hypnosis is a natural state that humans have been going in and out of since we came into existence. It was used in ancient tribal rituals and practices. You have probably experienced hypnosis every day of your life. Do you ever find yourself so engrossed in a good book or movie that time and your surroundings drift away? Have you ever arrived at a destination but had no clue of how you got there? Then yes, you've experienced hypnosis.
I'll help you to go into hypnosis with the best chance of success and clear expectations.
Will I do anything weird while I’m hypnotized?
Gone are the days of a creepy old man with a pocket watch towering over you and telling you what to do, and you won’t become entertainment, barking like a dog or clucking like a chicken.
Instead, you receive a powerful process in a safe space with a trusted partner.
You are here to achieve your best life. You will always be respected. You will never be hypnotized intentionally without your expressed consent. That's right. I will ask you every time.
You will know how to come out of hypnosis if an emergency beckons and you will always know that you are in control.
All hypnosis is really self-hypnosis and this isn't the movies. You don't go anywhere you don't want to go, and you don't do or say things that you would never do or say when not hypnotized.
I've tried everything for weight loss, and I always gained it back. How do I know this will work for me?
If you’re here for the right reasons and you show up and do what you’ve agreed to do, it will work.
But I’m not going to sugarcoat it; you still have to eat less and move more.
You need to be doing this for YOU, not just because your spouse or someone else suggested you take action. You must want the results and be willing to do your part.
If you think you have an unusual situation or medical/medication issue that is affecting your weight, please reach out to me and let’s talk about it. If it’s not your diet and exercise that’s causing your problems, a different solution might be a better route.
What if I’m working with a therapist already?
That’s great! Therapy can be highly complementary to both coaching and hypnosis. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been shown to be particularly effective in combination with hypnosis.
How quickly can I expect to see results?
Healthy weight loss looks like 1-2 pounds per week, and sometimes weight falls off a bit faster at first as you change your habits, more so if you have a lot of weight to lose. Obviously, the more dramatically your habits change the more you will notice the results. I’d expect that you could lose at least 10 pounds during the 12-week program, and possibly even double that.
As you become healthier, more changes than just the number on the scale. For example, you may be gaining muscle as you melt away fat, and muscle is heavier than fat, so this may not be reflected by your weight. So, remember to look for changes in your appearance and how your clothes fit, changes to your physical strength and capability, and changes to your energy and mood and celebrate them as well.

Is there a guarantee?
If you show up to your appointments with honest reports on your progress, do your best to follow your guidelines, listen to your recordings, and stay connected to your vision and purpose for weight loss, this program should work for you. Remember, this is a program that you are actively co-creating. Your results depend on what we do in our sessions as well as what you do out.
I firmly believe that this is an excellent program that will get you results if you do your part. That being said, this program is person-centric, and therefore not everyone will experience the same results.
Some people lose weight more easily than others, and some will end up making more dramatic changes than others to their habits and behaviors either due to how effective the techniques and their delivery work for them, or due to how much room for improvement they had in those behaviors and habits.
By that, I mean that if you are only ten pounds from your final goal, already exercise a lot, and have mostly good eating habits, you may not lose weight as easily or quickly as someone who is much heavier who tends to be sedentary and who eats primarily fast food at the beginning of the program as they’ll be making more dramatic changes and therefore likely get bigger results.
Rapport and having a strong professional relationship between the coach, hypnotist, or, in this case, hypnotic coach and the client also matters in terms of results.
I know that it’s important to feel comfortable with the person you are choosing to work with. For that reason, I offer free 15-min hypnotic coaching strategy calls and I’m happy to have one with you before you choose to work with me.
After your investment in the program, you can feel confident that if either of us determines that working together is not a good fit during your Kickoff Session, I’ll refund the remainder of the program.
Who is NOT a good fit for this program?
If you don't want to be hypnotized or can't generally focus or concentrate this may not be the best option for you. Hypnosis is not something that someone does to you like a wizard casting a spell. It’s a process and you play a vital and active role in becoming hypnotized. You must be willing to focus and follow along and go where the words guide you.
There are also a few medical and mental health conditions that could cause problems with hypnosis, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. If you have any mental health conditions, please reach out to me before investing to make sure that this could be helpful for you.
Sometimes, we just need to make sure that your doctor is on board and available for support and medical guidance. If you have diabetes and alter your eating habits, for example, your doctor may need to lower your medication doses so that your blood sugar stays in the normal range.
Lastly, you need to be ready. For this to work, you must have hope and believe that now is the time for you to do this. You must want to make these changes and have an internal purpose for doing so. You will get the best results by being fully on board with your guidelines and wanting this to work for you.

I've been all over the place with my weight. And I've beaten myself up for it, too. I've tried so many diets, and they all worked--for a while, that is. I always gained it all back (or more!) when I stopped strictly following them and felt worse than ever. You, too?
